A Seattle native who grew up surrounding himself with his passions, art & design, skateboarding, ice hockey and creating pointless videos with his friends. After obtaining his degree in Graphic Design & Commercial Art, Dean fled the rain and embraced the sun in Los Angles to pursue a career in design & film.

​

In 2006 he was a wearer of multiple hats at Cloverland Studios where he was an Editor, motion graphic artist, title designer, and general graphic designer  involved in over 100 various mini documentary projects with clients such as MGM Home Entertainment, Fox Home Entertainment & Sony Home Entertainment. In 2013 Dean became the Sr. Graphics Producer on the NBC late night show Last Call with Carson Daly where he designed and implemented the graphic look of the show, and it's large amount of daily motion graphic needs.

Dean specializes in digital based formats with a particular interest in title design, motion graphics, branding & Identity, editorial design, typography and packaging. With a combined 19 years of graphic design and video production experience, Dean has managed to bring his own unique style to each and every project. He believes that design is a creative process, and that through enough research and exploration, trial and error, the visual solution will present itself.

When not designing Dean is usually watching hockey, building and decorating his post apocalyptic houses in Fallout 4, being suckered into Amazon Daily Deals, being inspired to cook better after watching Gordon Ramsey yell at people, watching old noir films and bad 70's cinema, drinking mass amounts of black iced coffee and trying to convince himself that collecting over 2,000 DVD's was a good idea at one point.
