This Blu-ray project was for Twentieth Century Fox's big Expanded edition Blu-ray book release of the famous John Wayne film The Commancheros.

 

Being a big fan of the Golden Age of Hollywood and older films, this was a lot of fun to work on and definitely became a labor of love so to speak. I spent a lot of time sifting through dozens of interviews to find the best quotes from people interviewed to build this 45-minute documentary into a story that primarily covers John Wayne’s time with Twentieth Century Fox, the films he did there, as well as his personal life and controversies at the time. This project for me was much more than just editing, it included the overall artistic design and look of the documentary, image restoration and enhancement, title designs, static and motion graphics – all of which I tried to keep within my over all theme. I am really happy with how the piece turned out.
